When you have a radio show positioned in between two Pay Per Views, you don't need an additional sell. With that in mind, Eric and I felt like we had a show and the thought of a guest was something we were going to hold off on for a week. Apparently, we were wrong.
After the break, the switchboard lit up with two different calls. Like the good host I am, I picked up the earliest caller first and expected to talk wrestling. Instead, I was surprised to hear these words:
"hey guys, it's Peter Warrick"
Immediately going into skeptical mode, I questioned the guy on this but indeed it was former NFL wide receiver Peter Warrick. It seemed the show was about to take an interesting turn, but truth be told, Peter was not there to talk wrestling. It was a misunderstanding as he is schedule to come on TOMOROWW's show on our network but called in a day early. We had a fun little moment with him and it's one of those things that you just can't make up.
As for the rest of the show, we had a lot of fun and had a great call from Alex, who joined us in some Punk talk and in our Pay Per View predictions.
