Remember when CM Punk cut the now infamous "shoot" promo on Raw? Part of the message of that promo was that Punk was never given a chance to be "the guy". He wasn't on the collector cups, he wasn't on the talk show, he wasn't seen as "marketable". Oh, how quickly things change.
I was walking around my house late Monday night when I heard a TV that was left on. A familiar voice beckoned me and when I finally was able to see the tv in question, CM Punk was on my screen. Not an hour ago, he made his triumphant return to the WWE, but apparently he was a busy boy before then.
The show that Punk was on was the Jimmy Kimmel Show. That's right, a talk show. Unfortunately, he wasn't one of Jimmy's guest. He did a skit where he taunted Jimmy's cousin's son.
