It's me, it's me, it's the Long Island Iced "E"!!! And I'm back and (hopefully) better than ever! You have all been waiting and crying the return of your savior so here I am!
Ok...I'll cut the crap. It's been such a long time since I've actually written anything on the site but fear not, I will do my best to be at least a weekly contributor. Compared to the other Eric on the website, my knowledge of wrestling history is elementary at best, but I will do my best to provide you guys with the type of articles you deserve.
But now that I'm back I have a favor to ask of you, our loyal, loyal readers. My girlfriend humored me about a month ago (not like that you sick bastards, get your heads out of the gutter) and let me show her a wrestling match just so she would know why I watch it so religiously lately. I decided to show her the classic TLC II match from Wrestlemania 17. I feel like if someone is trying to ease their way into the wrestling community, it is a perfect match to show. It's got a little bit of everything one can ask for in a match with all the run ins and sick spots. When the match ended, she said she liked it but not for the reasons i expected, she liked it because of Lita. Really? Lita?? That made no sense to me but whatever.
Now to the point of this article. I'd like to show her just one more match to try to get her to like wrestling because it could be and interest we both have. (that and wrestlemania is coming to my neck of the woods and I want her to come along with me) If you please, can you all give me suggestions of matches that I could show her to try and get her enveloped in the soap opera world we call wrestling?
