Another PPV?  Yes, in the WWE world, 3 weeks is supposed to be considered a long time, so here we are ready to predict yet another Pay Per View.  This is the 3rd such occurence in the past 6 weeks, but I'm not going to harp on my feelings about this issue.  Instead, we're going to jump into some predictions.  Back again is SM Punk, the so called "expert" who I handely defeated with last show's picks.  SM claims that this time will be different and that he will avenge his loss.  Will he?  Let's get to it.

Title vs. Title - Daniel Bryan (US Champ) vs. Dolph Ziggler (IC Champ)

SM - I got Daniel Bryan in this one.  Now free from the thorn that was The Miz, Bryan has a clear head to focus on this match.  Meanwhile, Ziggler's ongoing struggles with Vickie Guerrero may do him in with this one.  Ziggler will have too much on his mind and will be on the losing end here.

MotSS - We definitely agree here.  I think the Ziggler/Vickie/Kaitlyn storyline will certainly play a factor in the result of this match.  However, I think there will be another turn that you have overlooked.  This past week, we saw that the WWE Divas are quite fond of the "nerdy" Daniel Bryan.  This factor may come into play, as Kaitlyn may become more intrigued by Bryan than she is Ziggler (or so Vickie thinks).  I'm not sure how this will play out, but I think somehow, Kaitlyn will be dancing with Bryant by the end of this match.  Just a hunch.

Unified Divas Title - Layla(c) vs. Natalya

MotSS - I'm staying with the statement I made months ago.  The money is in a Beth Phoenix/Laycool feud.  Thus, Laycool needs to retain here and they will.  While the antics of Laycool have been childish as usual, they still have the numbers advantage, which is something Natalya can't overcome.  She'll put up a good fight but lose in the end.

SM - Gotta agree with you here.  Michelle McCool will play a major role here as she will not let her team be titleless.  If anything, she'll probably be more involved than she needs to be, but that's the way Laycool has been for their entire existence.  I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that Laycool beats down Natalya post match, leading to the return of Beth Phoenix.  It's about time for the Glamazon to return, so why not now?

World Heavyweight Championship (Buried Alive Match) - Kane(c) vs. Undertaker

SM - I'm thinking Kane in this one.  From a storyline perspective, I don't see where either man can go with an Undertaker win.  It would seem to make no sense, especially given the way Undertaker always makes returns.  I think Kane wins, then Taker costs his brother the belt upon return, leading to a final showdown where big brother finally gets the win.

MotSS - I have to agree.  You can also look at the history of Undertaker in buried alive matches.........he rarely wins them!  I expect history to repeat itself and Kane to win this one.  The only thing holding me back on this pick is the fact that the Undertaker will have lost 3 straight times.  When is the last time that has happened?  I honestly don't know, but it's going to happen this time.  I hate the fact that a buried alive match was booked, but since it was, this is the only logical result.

WWE Championship - Randy Orton(c) vs. Wade Barrett(with John Cena)

MotSS - This is the toughest one of the night.  There are so many possibilities for how this can play out.  Obviously with John Cena as the wild card, this could play out in a lot of ways.  I'm going to go with Wade Barrett actually winning here.  He has done excellent work of late, and I don't think Cena is going to be costing Barrett the match.  It will be somewhat of a surprise, but Cena will actually help Barrett to win the title.  It just seems to me that there's more possibilities with Barrett winning, even if his reign is short.

SM - We definitely disagree here.  There is NO WAY Orton loses.  The guy hasn't looked remotely vulnerable in months.  Plus, I don't think Cena's story will be so simple.  He will begrudgingly help Barrett, but might inadvertantly get him disqualified or cost him the match.  Cena's decision making process may frustrate Barrett to the point where Orton can recover and hit a quick RKO for the win.  WWE has a lot of faith in Orton and I just don't see him losing here.

Bragging Rights Match - RAW (The Miz(C), Ezekiel Jackson, Sheamus, John Morrison, R-Truth, CM Punk and Santino Marella) vs. Smackdown (Big Show(C), Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Jack Swagger, Tyler Reks, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston)

SM - I think Raw gets their revenge this year.  Miz is on a roll and I think he finds a way to get his team the win here.  To further his push, he will actually hit his finisher on Big Show, and procede to yap about it for weeks to come.  It just seems like the perfect way to prepare him for his main event run.

MotSS - We disagree again.  I think Miz's cocky nature will cost him.  Nobody on Raw's team truly likes Miz and I think that could be costly.  You could see someone like Punk simply walk out, while Sheamus' hot temper could lead to a breakdown on Raw's side.  I think the fact that Miz will want to get the pin so badly will irritate his team and ultimately cost himself and Raw the match.  Smackdown wins for the second year in a row.

With two disagreements this time, who will emerge victorious?  Find out tomorrow night, 8 PM on Pay Per View.  Should be a pretty fun event, despite AGAIN the lack of buildup given the proximity of dates of recent PPV's.  Luckily, this ends that trend and we will have some breathing room before Survivor Series!
